Three Minors Arrested for Harrington Robbery

HARRINGTON, Del. - Harrington Police have arrested three minors for a reported pizza delivery robbery.

Police were called to the 200 Block of Franklin Street in Harrington after the three suspects confronted a delivery driver and took the pizza without paying.

Police said, the three minors, two 15-year-olds and one 17-year-old, from Harrington and Dover, Del., also gave threatening gestures to the victim during the robbery.

After the subjects fled the scene, a Harrington Police Department K-9 tracked the subjects to a residence in the 200 Block of Commerce Street.

Police said, the homeowner who gave officers permission to search the house and the three were found inside and taken into custody. The stolen pizzas were also recovered.

All three minors were transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing and charged with theft by false pretense, conspiracy third-degree and menacing.

Each were released to their parents pending a future court appearance in Kent County Family Court.
