Suspects Burglarize Two Dover Businesses

DOVER, Del.- The Dover Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to Sally’s Beauty Supply on N. DuPont Highway around 12:30 a.m. for an alarm.

According to police, when officers arrived, they saw that the glass on the front door was broken.

The suspects used a rock to break the window and then stole a cash drawer from the register, police said.

The second burglary happened around 12:55 a.m. at the DOT Discount store on Independence Boulevard, police said.

According to police, the suspects from the Sally’s Beauty Supply burglary used a rock to break the glass door to the DOT Discount store, as well.

Once inside, the suspects took a cash drawer and two cartons of Newport cigarettes.
