Salisbury Stores Sold Out of Solar Eclipse Glasses

A total solar eclipse will cross the U.S. mainland on Monday and millions of people will be watching.

In order to watch the eclipse safely, you'll need special eclipse glasses to protect your eyes.

"Well, I don't have any glasses and I really would like to get some. I am going to try Walmart and see if I can figure it out or maybe some YouTube videos to see if I can make it myself," says Ryan Crisfield.

The problem is Walmart, Lowe's, Toy's R Us, and other major retailers in Salisbury are completely sold out of the glasses.

Some people say just because stores are sold out, this will not stop them from still viewing the eclipse.

"I don't have the eclipse glasses, what I am going to do is a pin hole ...you poke a hole in it with a pin and you can watch it on the ground," says Margaret King.

For all those who will not be able to view the eclipse tomorrow, NASA will have live stream video streams of the total solar eclipse from locations across the country.
