Thousands Gather at NASA Wallops to Watch the Solar Eclipse

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va.- Nearly 2,000 people came out to NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on Monday to watch the 2017 solar eclipse. 

NASA officials had to start limiting their solar viewers to one per family because of the large turnout. 

It was a view Andy Myers of Salisbury, Md. said you don't get to see quite often.

"There will be other eclipses but not like this one," he said. 

The next eclipse over the United States will be in 2024.
