Pocomoke Man Leads Deputy on Brief Chase

SNOW HILL, Md.- A Pocomoke man has been arrested after a brief pursuit on Friday.

According to the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, a deputy attempted to stop 36-year-old Tremayne Rogers for speeding on Route 113 near Snow Hill.

Rogers failed to stop, and the deputy chased him. On Route 113 near East Market Street, Rogers got out of the car and ran away from the deputy, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies found Rogers several hours later about three miles away. He was then taken into custody, the sheriff's office said.

The owner of the car that Rogers was driving told deputies that it was driven without permission.

Rogers was charged with fleeing and eluding, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and several related charges.

He was held pending trial.
