DSPD Investigate Early Morning Shooting in Bridgeville

Bridgeville, De. – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an early morning shooting in east of Bridgeville.

Police say a man was shot around 2:33 a.m., in the area of Appletree Road (CR591) south of Oak Road (CR594). The man was treated on the scene by Sussex County Paramedics and then transported by EMS to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital; he was later flown to the Christiana Hospital.

This shooting is still in its early stages and more information will be released as it becomes available.
