WILMINGTON, Del. (AP)- The race to become the next attorney general of Delaware has attracted two more hopefuls.

Chris Johnson has announced his candidacy, resigning from his post as deputy legal counsel for Gov. John Carney. He's a Democrat who has previously worked in the law department of Wilmington's city government.

LaKresha Roberts, a state Department of Justice official, has also announced her intention to run for the post. She's a Democrat who most recently served as chief deputy attorney general.

Johnson and Roberts join Democrats Kathy Jennings and Timothy Mullaney in the upcoming race. Republican candidate Thomas Neuberger has also announced his intention to run.

Attorney General Matt Denn has said he's not seeking re-election this fall.
