The Foundation for Community Partnerships, Inc. has established the Hurricane Katrina charitable fund within our Community Foundation in order to provide residents in the Chesapeake Bay Region with an easy and effective way to support those facing the devastation created by Hurricane Katrina.
Having withstood the severe damage caused by Hurricane Isabelle, many in our community have expressed an interest in doing something for the victims in New Orleans and the surrounding areas most affected by the hurricane. Working with local churches and community organizations, the foundation has set up a fund to spearhead this effort. The foundation will utilize our staff, time and expertise to make sure that your monetary contribution is delivered to those organizations best suited to help the victims of the hurricane and to ensure the most benefit from your donation.
