Berlin and Lewes Garner Top Small Town Shopping Honors

Berlin, Maryland and Lewes, Delaware were named the nation's top small towns for shopping in 2018 by USA Today readers. 

Berlin took the number one spot on the list, and business owners say this is a great accomplishment. 

"This is huge, this could bring more people into our small town," says store owner,  Steve Freeden. 

Both towns say they hope to make the list again next year.

    Salisbury University Expanding Southern Campus With New Housing Complex

    Salisbury University purchased the Court Plaza and Temple Hill Motel lots back in 2016, but now the university foundation released the first look at a new housing complex on that property.

    Salisbury University Foundation Executive Director Jason Curtin says the 8.5 acres will soon be home to three new, five-story housing buildings, serving 750-800 students.
