HAMPTON, Va. (AP) - Court documents say a man had been shot and killed by his daughter's boyfriend at a Virginia apartment complex.
The Daily Press reported Tuesday that a criminal complaint affidavit says 44-year-old Lawrence Antoine Fuller, of Hampton, was visiting the apartment that his daughter shared with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Miquel Johnston.
The affidavit says at some point the discussion became an argument, at which time Johnston pointed a handgun at Fuller and shot him.
Johnston was charged with second-degree murder, using a gun in a felony and shooting in an occupied building. A public defender has been appointed to represent Johnston, with his next court date scheduled June 6.
