Parkside High School Teacher Arrested for Dealing Heroin, Prescription Meds on School Grounds

SALISBURY, Md.- The Parkside High School teacher accused of selling drugs on school property has been sentenced. 

Monica Snee, of Salisbury, was sentenced to 20 years in the Maryland Division of Corrections, with all but five years suspended. After her release, she'll serve five years of probation, according to the Office of the State's Attorney for Wicomico County.

Snee pleaded guilty after authorities found her in possession of 173 capsules of fentanyl as well as 339 oxycodone tablets and $2,879 cash on school property in November 2017.

During a search of her home and various banks where she had accounts, deputies discovered another $18,000, prosecutors said.

A judge ordered the seized $20,879 to be forfeited to Wicomico County as part of sentencing.
