OCEAN CITY, Md. - It was another early morning for boaters heading out of Sunset Marina in West Ocean City for the fourth day of the White Marlin Open.

Mitchell Pierson from Costa Rica was aboard one of the boats leaving around 5 a.m. Pierson said he hoped he had a winning game plan for the day.

"Stay in the shore in the shallow water. Throughout the history of the tournament, I think there's been more fish caught in shore than out shore," said Pierson.

A total of 213 boats went fishing Thursday.

A piece of about $5.4 million is on the line for the tournament's winners.

The White Marlin Open wraps up on Friday in Ocean City.
