DOVER, Del. - A Dover man has been arrested and charged with trying to rob a local Burger King.

According to the Dover Police Department, Nicolas Lynn, 20, entered the Burger King at 211 S. DuPont Highway Thursday afternoon and handed an employee a note demanding money.

The employee refused and Lynn allegedly motioned toward his waistband and stated he had a gun.

The employee refused again and Lynn fled the area.

Officers found Lynn and took him into custody without incident after being given a description by the victim.

Lynn was committed to JTVCC for Violation of Probation but was given a $7,000 unsecured bond on one charge of attempted robbery.
