Two Arrested On Drug Charges In Dover

DOVER, Del.- Dover police arrested two people on several drug-related charges following a search warrant Tuesday morning.

Officers searched a home in the 800 block of West North Street. During the search, officers allegedly located crack cocaine and heroin inside the home, where six children ranging from newborn to 7 years of age were staying, police said.

Dwahn Hooks, 27, and Keyana Lewis, 27, were both arrested without incident. All six children were placed with another family member.

Hooks was charge with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, second-degree conspiracy, six charges of endangering welfare of a child, possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a $7,500 secured bond.

Lewis was charged with maintaining a drug property and second-degree conspiracy and was released on a $7,500 unsecured bond.
