Harrington Man Arrested on Weapons Charges

HARRINGTON, Del.- A Harrington, Delaware was arrested just after midnight Thursday after a stolen vehicle was recovered, according to Delaware State Police.

Aaron Williams, 27, was driving the reported stolen SUV when he pulled into a bank parking lot on Governor's Road. A trooper initiated a traffic stop and arrested Williams without incident.

During a search of the vehicle, the trooper found a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun and a loaded 40mm magazine, according to police.

Williams is facing various firearms charges. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $12,000 bond.
