Woman Dies in Salisbury Head-on Crash

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police are investigating a deadly head-on crash that happened Wednesday afternoon on South Salisbury Boulevard.

Police say 68-year-old Tyeace Virginia Waters, of Salisbury, was driving a 2004 Pontiac minivan when, for unknown reasons, she swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a 2018 Jeep head-on. Waters was pronounced dead at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. 

According to police, the 58-year-old man driving the Jeep was transported to PRMC and treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. 

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Unit has been contacted to conduct a reconstruction of the crash. The investigation is on-going but the Salisbury Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact it at 833-729-2489.
