Rehoboth Beach Man Arrested For Burglary

MILLVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested a Rehoboth Beach man in connection with two burglaries in the Millville By The Sea development.

Alan Mindrup, 60, was found by police Saturday behind a home in the 31000 block of Reservoir Road. According to police, Mindrup had just burglarized an attached garage at a home in the 30000 block of Center Point Road and was being chased by the homeowner.

The homeowner reported that Mindrup has entered his garage and took a jacket and baseball cap. Police later learned that a bike Mindrup was riding was allegedly stolen from an unsecured detached garage at a home in the 31000 block of Reservoir Road, DSP said.

Mindrup was charged and committed to the Sussex Correctional Insitution on a $10,000 secured bond.
