SEAFORD, Del.- Police investigating the distribution of dozens of KKK fliers in Seaford say no charges will be filed in connection with those incidents.

On Saturday night, a flier was found in front of Macedonia AME Church on 431 N. North St. The following day, 11 more KKK fliers were found in the Virginia Commons neighborhood. As of Monday morning, 13 more were found in Seaford.

Rev. Tesha Miller, pastor at the Macedonia AME Church, first learned of the fliers when her neighbor called to let her know something had been found on the steps of the church.

"When I arrived my neighbor came up to me and said there were two white men in a pickup truck that threw something on the church steps," said Miller.

The fliers, which are inside pebble-filled baggies, feature slogans like "The KKK Wants You," and racially-charged messages targeting blacks, Jews and Latinos.

"I was a little angry at first but then I realized that in life I don't have to be angry about ignorance, what I would consider ignorance," said Miller.

Seaford police on Tuesday afternoon said that after consulting with the Delaware Attorney General's Office, "there will be no charges pursued in this investigation." Police provided no further details.

On Tuesday morning, Harrington police said they were investigating the distribution of KKK fliers in that city, located approximately 20 miles north of Seaford.

According to online reports, similar KKK fliers have been spotted in Smyrna, Dover in Delaware and Vienna and Princess Anne in Maryland.
