Firefly Music Festival Releases 2019 Lineup

DOVER, Del. -- The Firefly Music Festival is once again returning to the Woodlands for it's eighth festival -- and Monday, event organizers released the lineup of performers. 

The headliners of the upcoming event includes Panic! At the Disco on Friday, Travis Scott on Saturday, and Post Malone on Sunday.

Also making appearances at the weekend camping event include Kygo, Tyler, the Creator, Vampire Weekend, DJ Snake, ZEDD, and many others.

Firefly will be held June 21-23 at the Woodlands in Dover. General admission as well as VIP, Super VIP and Super Duper VIP pass options go on sale this Friday, Dec. 14 at noon.

Event organizers also announced new programs for this upcoming year, including the S.P.A.R.K. Program and  The Great Atlantic Campout.

According to Firefly officials, the S.P.A.R.K. program is a way for fans to connect with one another for the festival, both online and in-person. There are several things to do within the program, such as volunteering opportunities as well as team sports and group activities. 

As for the Great Atlantic Campout, event organizers said it's a camping experience that allows fans easy access to the venue as well as offers different amenities.

    A woman who worked as a school nurse at Crisfield High School & Academy has been arrested and charged with sexual offenses involving four high school students, Maryland State Police said Wednesday.

    Samantha Marsh, 33, of Crisfield, is charged with 10 counts of fourth-degree sex offense, four counts of perverted practice, four counts of contributing to the condition of a child and one count of attempted fourth-degree sex offense.

    President Donald Trump declared a national emergency Friday after congress refused to completely fund his wall at the  U.S.-Mexico border. Congress approved a spending deal to avoid a shutdown, which did not include the $5.7 billion President Trump requested in border wall funding.

    Salisbury University Political Science Chair Adam Hoffman says the move may result in severe push back from democratic congressional leaders, and may even result in legal action.
