Dover Police Arrest Wanted Suspect on Drug Charges

DOVER, Del. - Dover Police arrested a 27-year-old wanted person on a traffic stop on Tuesday evening. 

Police say at approximately 10:06 p.m., officers saw Darren Holden as a passenger in a vehicle. Officers familiar with Holden determined he was wanted at the time. Once police made contact, Holden provided a false name to officers.

According to police, when Holden was taken into custody he resisted officers attempts to place him in a police vehicle. 

Holden was also found in possession of .2 grams of marijuana, 504 bags (3.53 grams of heroin, and packaging materials).

Police say the driver, Juliana Hansley-Thomas (28) was found in possession of  .6 grams of marijuana. Thomas was released without bond on a single possession of marijuana charge and a traffic offense.

Holden was committed to SCI in default of $67,000 cash bind on the following charges:

-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin

-Possession of Heroin

-Possession of Marijuana

-Drug Paraphernalia

-Resisting Arrest

-Criminal Impersonation

-Capias Hansley
