PRMC Cancer Support Services Moving to MAC, Inc.

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Cancer support services in Salisbury will be moving to a combined space at the MAC Senior Center.

Peninsula Regional Medical Center had offered yoga classes and counseling on Riverside Drive, but now all of the Cancer Support Services will be in one place.

The MAC Senior Center, at 909 Progress Circle, is offering its gym, garden and classroom spaces to those going through treatment, as well as cancer survivors.

"It makes it much less confusing, it's clearer. It's much clearer to people that everything that's part of the combined Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Cancer Support Services, MAC, it's all at one place," explains Cancer Survivor Coordinator Robin Ritchie.

The MAC Center says the consolidation of cancer support services will begin in February.
