Posted: Updated:

MILFORD, Del. - Milford Police said they arrested a Smyrna man on charges for stalking after an investigation in 2018.

Aaron Williams, 27 of Smyrna, is facing stalking and reckless endangering charges, among others.

The charges stem from incidents that happened in December 2018.  It allegedly happened in the Brightway Commons and The Willows neighborhoods.

According to Milford PD,  Williams allegedly tried to contact the victim multiple times, peered through the window of their home on one occasion, and made a false report to police that an armed person was inside the victim's home, triggering a police response.

Following their investigation, police received warrants for his arrest and took him into custody on Jan. 31.

Williams was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution and was scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on Friday for a preliminary hearing.
