CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Some neighbors in Dorchester County woke up relieved Monday morning to see rain falling instead of snowflakes after a storm system moved into the area last night.

"I need to work. I hate missing work," said Angelia Hastings of Hurlock.

However, other neighbors said they were hoping to wake up and see more snow outside.

"Man, I was going to build a snowman with my daughter and wife. We was going to have fun," said Rickey Todd of Cambridge.

"I was hoping to wake up to snow so we could be out of school and work, but we're going to school and work," said Latoya Jackson.

Freezing rain overnight did present concerns of slick road conditions in the morning, and drivers made sure to take it easy behind the wheel. However, roads remained free of any major issues.
