LAUREL, Del. - Delaware State Police said they have arrested a Laurel man who was wanted for several burglaries that happened in the month of February.

Curtis T. Downes, 28 of Laurel, was arrested Tuesday at a home on the 30000 block of Seaford Road. He was charged with burglary and theft, among other related offenses.

The charges stem from incidents that happened months ago. DSP said Downes allegedly stole several items from multiple homes and sold them at an area pawn shop. State police said he stole things like tools and power equipment from a home in Seaford as well as one in Laurel, before selling them as his own at the same local pawn shop.

Downes was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $930.00 cash only bond.
