Wyoming Police Searching for Missing 8-Year-Old Girl

WYOMING, Del. - Police in Wyoming are looking for an 8-year-old girl who went missing with her mother Friday.

According to authorities, Mia Fumes, of Dover, was last seen with her biological mother, 40-year-old Jessica A. Ewing. They were at W. B. Simpson Elementary School in Camden around 2:20 p.m. on Friday.

Wyoming PD said Ewing is violating a family court order issued on Friday by taking Mia. Police said Ewing has ties to Prosperity, PA and is possibly on their way to that area.

Mia is described as a white female, 4’00” tall, 70 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ewing is described as a white female, 5’00” tall, 125 lbs., red hair and brown eyes. She is driving a blue, 2019 Toyota Corolla, with Arkansas registration, 739VRE.

Anyone with more information about their whereabouts is asked to call the Kent County Communications Center non-emergency line at 302-739-4525.
