Salisbury Man Convicted of Sexual Abuse of Minor

SALISBURY, Md.- A Wicomico County Circuit Court jury has convicted a 30-year-old Salisbury man of sexual abusing a minor.

According to prosecutors, Austin Christopher White, was found guilty on June 6 of  one count of sexual abuse of a minor, one count of second-degree rape and three counts of third-degree sex offense.

Judge S. James Sarbanes presided over the two-day trial and ordered a pre-sentence investigation and a mental health evaluation be completed on White prior to sentencing.

Prosecutors said that from 2013 to 2015, White sexually abused a minor victim under the age of 10.
