SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury Fire Department is crediting a man's quick actions for saving the life of another man Tuesday.

A car was submerged in the Wicomico River by downtown Salisbury. According to the fire department, a man named Andrew Lunn quickly jumped in to save the person in that car.

A post shared on their page says Lunn works at the Anchorage Nursing Home.

According to the Salisbury Police Department, the 55-year-old driver accidentally backed into the Wicomico River from the nursing home side of the river. Police said the driver suffered minor injuries.
