SALISBURY, Md.- A Salisbury man is facing multiple DUI/DWI charges after he crashed his vehicle Tuesday evening.

Nicholas Tymkiw Cook, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, appeared to be impaired, according to Maryland State Police.

After smelling alcohol on Cook's breath, responding troopers gave a field sobriety test with Cook's consent.

Police said Cook's poor performance during the test resulted in his arrest and he was charged with multiple DUI/DWI charges.

The accident reportedly occurred at Route 12 and Wildlife Lane.
