SEAFORD, DE.- The Delaware State Police Sussex Drug Unit ended its month-long drug investigation with the arrest of a Seaford man on Tuesday.

Police say that 40-year-old Charlie V. Riddick, of Seaford, was using two homes  on Douglas Street and Clementine Court, in Seaford, to distribute illegal drugs.

The SDU searched both properties and took Riddick into custody at the Clementine Court residence. Police say Riddick was in possession of 10 9mm rounds of ammunition at the time of arrest. The 9mm handgun was recovered during the search.

Riddick is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition due to his prior felony convictions, according to police.

Detectives say Isiah J. Major, of Selbyville was distributing marijuana. Officers took the 31-year-old into custody at the time of the Douglas Street home search.

Officers say the firearms recovered were reported stolen out of Millersville, Maryland.

Riddick faces multiple counts of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited and two counts of Receiving a Stolen Firearm.

Major was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Riddick is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $45,000 cash only bond, while Major was released on his own recognizance.
