Campaign Trail Recap: Pres. Trump Rally, Second Debate Set

CAMPAIGN TRAIL - The second Democratic Debate is all lined up. President Donald Trump continues to utilize his latest attack on the "squad" during his rallies.

The field is set for the upcoming second Democratic Primary debates, hosted by CNN. The July 30th debate will only feature one change to the stage. Montana Governor Steve Bullock qualifies in the top 20. This follows California Representative Eric Swalwell's departure from the race earlier this month. Rep. Swalwell was on the stage at the first debate.

The debate will, again, be held over two nights with 20 presidential hopefuls. CNN will the line ups live Thursday night through random drawings, starting at 8 p.m. on the network's channel.

The debate is scheduled for July 30th in Detroit, Michigan.

President Donald Trump continues to utilize his latest tweet scandal by hyping up his audiences at his rallies. Wednesday night in North Carolina, the President said of the Congresswomen, "They never have anything good to say. That's why I say, hey, if they don't like it, let them leave."

Supporters cheered as the President went after each of the first-term lawmakers. The most pointed criticisms were aimed at Minnesota's Ilhan Omar. When talking about Rep. Omar, the crowds cheered, "Send her back! Send her back! Send her back!"

In response, the congresswoman tweeted Wednesday night a Maya Angelou Poem that read in part, "You may kill me with your hatefulness. But still, like air, I'll rise."
