Police Investigate Shots-fired Incident in Dover

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating a shots-fired incident in which a bullet struck an occupied home in Dover late Thursday night. 

Police said that at around 11 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a home on Autumnwood Court in Dover for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, troopers made contact with a 23-year-old woman who stated that she and two other females, ages 19 and 14, were sitting in the living room when they heard a “pop” sound.  The woman then observed a bullet hole in the wall. 

Further investigation revealed that the bullet had traveled through three walls in the home and was later located in the garage.  There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

There is no suspect information at this time.
