Delaware State Police Investigate Shots Fired In Dover

DOVER, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired situation in Dover where several bullets struck a home on Friday night.

Around 6:30 p.m. police say troopers responded to Generals Way for a report of shots fired.

Troopers talked to a female resident who said unidentified people fired multiple rounds at her home, according to police.

Police say multiple holes were found in the front of the home, but no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

There is no suspect at this time, but police are asking that anyone with information contact Troop 3, Detective Blomquist at 302-697-4454.

    Delaware State Police, Federal Aviation Administration, and the National Transportation Safety Board are still investigating a fatal plane crash that occurred Sunday morning. Officers say the only people on board the plane, a pilot and a passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names are being withheld until next of kin is notified.
