Police Release Name in Lincoln Death Investigation

LINCOLN, Del.- Delaware State Police on Tuesday released the name of a man found shot at a home in Lincoln on July 10.

Police identified the victim as 34-year-old Brian D. Chirdon. 

According to police, shortly before 8:30 p.m. July 10, troopers were dispatched to a home in the 15000 block of Winner Circle where they found Chirdon suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the Sussex Bayhealth Hospital in Milford, and later transferred to the Christiana Hospital where he succumbed to his injury. in.

The case continues to remain under investigation by the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit.
