Gov. Hogan To Be Elected to National Governors Association Chair

SALT LAKE CITY, UT. - Maryland Governor Larry Hogan will be taking on a new job starting Friday.

Gov. Hogan will be in Salt Lake City, Utah to accept the top leadership position. Hogan is currently the vice chairman of the non-partisan NGA. Hogan will accept the gavel and deliver marks around 3 p.m. Friday.

The republican governor is the first Maryland governor to head the NGA since former Governor Parris Glendening in 2000.

Gov. Hogan has been serving as Maryland's governor since 2015.
