SALISBURY, Md.- A Salisbury man has been convicted of sexually abusing two children under the age of 12.
The Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office said Tuesday that Charles Quails, 52, of Salisbury, was found guilty by a jury of two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, one count of second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sexual offense, three counts of third-degree sexual offense, and one count of incest.
Wicomico County Circuit Court Judge D. William Simpson presided over the trial and ordered a pre-sentence and mental health investigation be completed prior to sentencing.
According to the State's Attorney, Quails sexually abused two victims in 2017 who were both under the age of 12 at the time of the offenses.
