Telemundo Delmarva and WRDE Coast TV Present Inaugural Event - Festival Copa Delmarva

SALISBURY, Md.- The Telemundo Delmarva/WRDE Coast TV team are proud to present the inaugural event Festival Copa Delmarva.

"This will be a celebration of soccer and the Hispanic community of Delmarva," explains Craig Jahelka, president, Draper Media.

"The Copa Delmarva Festival will be held in collaboration with other local organizations that also are passionate about the community such as the DE Turf Sports Complex and the Milford Soccer League," explains Robert Wilkinson, WBOC/WRDE Creative Services Producer and Event Organizer.

The event will bring together eight teams from the Milford Soccer League for a whole day of competition and fun. It will take place on Sunday, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the DE Turf sports complex.

"We look forward to welcoming DE TURF to the Hispanic community," explains Chris Giacomucci, Executive Director of DE Turf. "We are proud to create opportunities for all who share a passion for the sport of football. We look forward to a great event."

The winning team will take the title of champion of the cup and will be sponsored by Telemundo Delmarva and WRDE for the next season of the league. During the event, the delicious tacos from El Primo Taquerias will also be offered for sale. La ZMX Radio will be in charge of the music for the event, there will also be activities for the children that will be run by coach Joe Brown, technical director of Coastal Atlantic Futbol Club.
