Delaware Ranks 48th in List of Friendliest States

Posted: Updated:

DELMARVA- A travel company compiled a list from friendliest states to least friendly. The list may surprise you.

According to Big Seven Travel, Maryland ranks highest on Delmarva, coming in at 27th. The site says, "Maryland is among the most densely populated states in the nation, and is home to diverse cultures. Its openness to outsiders means that it’s a vibrant and social place to spend some time. You’ll easily find yourself making new best friends in a bar in Baltimore."

Virginia comes in at 35th thanks to its ever-growing diversity. Big Travel Seven says, "The cultural haven of Washington, D.C. and other metro areas make it a positive place to be."

And nearly at the bottom of the bucket is Delaware, coming in at 48th.

Only above New York (50) and Arkansas (49), the First State is apparently one of the most unfriendly states in the country. Big Seven Travel says Delaware "might be small – you can drive across the entire state in just 90 minutes, but that doesn’t exactly translate as neighborly."

The site even went as far as calling Delaware boring! This might just be a list we have to disagree with.
