Dover Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident

DOVER, Del.- Police are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday night in Dover.

Dover police said that shortly after 7 p.m., officers received a call for shots fired in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at South DuPont Highway.  Officers located several shell casings in the area and made contact with victims that had fled the area.  The victims have been very uncooperative with investigators and have not provided any information, according to police. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. 

Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
