SEAFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police arrested two people on drug charges during a traffic stop Friday evening in Seaford.

Troopers say an officer stopped a white Ford Taurus on Old Furnace Road  for a traffic violation shortly before 6:30 p.m.

The driver of the Taurus, Samantha S. Hollins, 26, of Salisbury, Md., provided the officer with ID, but her passenger, ultimately identified as Thomas R. Johnson, 25, of Georgetown, Del., gave a false name to the trooper, according to police.

Troopers say Hollins and Johnson were taken to Troop 5 where Johnson's identity was confirmed through finger print analysis.

Johnson and Hollins face multiple drug-related charges.

Johnson was also charged with making a false statement. Hollins faces additional charges of second-degree conspiracy and hindering prosecution, according to police.

Johnson was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $8,000 cash bail.
