Delaware Police Arrest, Charge Woman for Hitting Another with Car

DOVER, De. - Delaware Police have arrested a woman for reckless endangerment while driving a car.

Police have arrested 33 year-old Crystal L. Manning. Troopers were dispatched to the Valera Gas Station on South State Street Friday morning. A 35 year-old victim at the scene told police she had be intentionally struck by a vehicle. Further investigation revealed that Manning had verbally threatened to run the woman over for "taking her gas pump." Manning then drove her car in the direction of the victim, hitting and knocking her to the ground. Manning was not at the scene when police arrived but was later arrested at her home without incident.

The victim declined medical treatment, according to police.

Manning is being charged with possession of a deadly weapon, reckless endanger, terroristic threatening, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Manning was arraigned and released on a $8,500 bond.
