5th Annual SoDel Fest to be Held Saturday

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Some of the best coastal cuisine Delaware has to offer will return to Independence Clubhouse in Millsboro this weekend. The 5th Annual Southern Delaware Wine, Food, and Music Festival (SoDel Fest) takes place Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 4 p.m.

Twenty different restaurants will bring dishes, drinks, and desserts for people to try. This includes almost 100 wines, beer, and cocktails. One of the highlights is a "Chop-style" chef competition.

Founder and organizer, Stacy LaMotta, says it's a good idea to buy tickets online ahead of the event.

"You need to go online to sodelfest.com by Thursday to get a ticket before they go off sale. We may have tickets at the door, but they might sell out," she says. "I would go online and get your tickets to this event."

This year's SoDel Fest benefits the Beau Biden Foundation and Children and Families First.
