Investigators: Cambridge House Fire Intentionally Set

Posted: Updated:

CAMBRIDGE, Md.- The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating a house fire in Cambridge that appears to have been intentionally set.

Firefighters were called to the vacant, three-story home on Race Street around 5:30 a.m. Thursday after receiving a call from a neighbor.

It took firefighters about two hours to control the two-alarm blaze that started in the home's sunroom, investigators said.

No one was injured, but the fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damages to the structure, investigators said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Salisbury Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
