Multiple Fire Companies Respond to Dorchester County Fire

FEDERALSBURG, Md.- The Dorchester County Sheriff office says multiple fire companies responded to a large brush fire Saturday afternoon in Federalsburg.

Dorchester County Sheriff Jim Phillips says the fire broke out near a cornfield at 4937 Preston Road at approximately 3:30 pm.

The fire was under control roughly 20 minutes after responding units arrived, according to Phillips.

No injuries were reported from the fire, which remains under investigation.
