OCEAN CITY, Md- A sea of cars is all you can see at the Ocean City inlet on Thursday. This weekend is the Endless Summer Cruisin' event.

In a male-dominated hobby, the show is full of men and their supportive wives and girl friends. Luckily for their guests, there's more to do than look at cars.

"I did some shopping on the boardwalk. I ate a funnel cake, it was really good," says Joanne Muia.

Some knew their wives wouldn't make the trip. After years or riding shotgun,  Paul Holden's wife decided to take this year off. But he still appreciates all the supporters that come.

"I try to go up and approach the wives and thank them for coming down and supporting their husband's habit. A few of them are actually into it and have their own cars. But it's something I think is just important to do because guys tend to think of their car as their fist wife," said Holden.

Others put just as much time, if not more, into the craft.

"I worked more on the 64 more than [the 55 Ford F100]. We took them down to bare metal and did everything but the paint," said Janey Miller from Millers, Md.

Most participants wouldn't talk about the money spent in front of their significant others, but some said they've spent up to $90,000 refurbishing and up-keeping their cars.
