Man Arrested for DUI After 3-Vehicle Crash in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- Maryland State Police responded to a three-vehicle collision in Salisbury that led to the arrest of a Millsboro, Del. man on DUI and related charges. 

Shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday, troopers were dispatched to the intersection of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury for an accident. Upon arrival the troopers assisted the people within the vehicles and also made contact with the drivers. Police said the driver of a Jeep Cherokee that was involved in the crash, David Michael Arvey, of Millsboro, appeared to be impaired by alcohol. Troopers performed a field sobriety test in which Arvey reportedly performed poorly. 

He was later charged with multiple DUI/DWI and related traffic charges in connection with the crash.

There is no word yet on any injuries.
