Two Injured in Head-on Crash Near Lincoln

LINCOLN, Del.- Delaware State Police say two men were injured early Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Lincoln.

Police say shortly before 2 a.m., a 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan was driving southbound in the northbound lane of DuPont Highway.

A 2014 Volkswagen Jetta was driving in the left lane on the northbound lane of the highway when the two cars collided, according to police.

Police say the driver of the minivan, a 43-year-old man from Georgetown, and the driver of the Jetta, a 23-year-old man of Milford, were taken to the Bayhealth Sussex Campus Hospital by ambulance.

Troopers say the Georgetown man was admitted in critical condition. The Milford man was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.

Delaware State Police say Dupont Highway northbound in the area of the crash was closed for approximately three hours. The crash is still under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.

    Delaware Lawmakers Introduce Bill to Ban "Ghost Guns"

    A bill filed Thursday in Delaware's legislature would ban possession and manufacture of covert and undetectable firearms, a measure aimed at cracking down on so-called "ghost guns."

    House Bill 277 also makes it illegal to transport, ship, transfer, or sell an unfinished firearm frame or receiver. It also bars the manufacture or distribution of a firearm made using a 3D printer.
