SEAFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police have released the name of a man who died Sunday morning in a crash in Seaford.

Police identified the victim as 45-year-old William D. Miller, of Seaford.

Troopers say that shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday, Miller was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck and heading northbound on Bridgeville Highway and passing Dolby Road when he failed to steer along the sharp curve and crossed the southbound lane.

The truck continued into a construction site before driving over a dirt pile and overturning a number of times, according to police.

Responding officers say the truck ultimately came to rest on its roof on top of a stack of new, unused sewer pipes.

Miller was pronounced dead on the scene, according to troopers.

Police say the crash was called in after daylight, shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday.

The time of the accident is still under investigation, as police say they have not found any witnesses.

Officers believe that it occurred sometime early Sunday morning or late Saturday night due to the location.

Police say Bridgeville Highway was closed between US 13 and Dolby Road for approximately three hours Sunday morning during the investigation.

The crash continues to remain under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at Troop 7 in Lewes.
