Nearly 400 Bags of Heroin Seized in Delmar Traffic Stop

DELMAR, Md.- A man is accused running from a traffic stop in Delmar and throwing 300 bags of heroin into a backyard.           

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Wednesday that three people were in a car that was pulled over during a drug investigation Saturday in the area of Bi State Boulevard and East Chestnut Street in Delmar.           

Authorities said the front seat passenger, 32-year-old Lamerice Donte Oney, immediately got out and while running away threw the heroin into the backyard of a home. Oney was later captured a couple blocks away.           

The sheriff's office said a K-9 unit searched the vehicle and another 80 bags of heroin were found, along with crack cocaine, a digital scale and money.

Oney was charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin and possession of heroin. 

The driver, Terri Lynn Johnson, 46,  was charged with possession with the
intent to distribute heroin, possession of heroin, and possession of crack cocaine. 

The backseat passenger, Katelyn Marie Larrimore, 27, was found to have an outstanding warrant on file for her arrest. She was charged with possession of heroin and possession of cocaine and served with her outstanding warrant. 

Oney and Johnson are being held without bond at the Wicomico County Detention
Center. Larrimore is being held on $1,000 bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
