A night, even the dead want to be a part of. The first ever Day of the Dead, margarita contest is coming to Rehoboth Beach Friday night.

"It's a way for adults to enjoy trick or treating season. So instead of giving out candy we're doing a fantastic margarita sampling. A bunch of local businesses pulled together and decided to do this promotion for all of our locals," said Blackwall Hitch owner, Derek Fink.

From 5-9, 16 local bars and restaurants are participating in the event. For 5-dollars participants get a ballot where if they try at lest eight different drinks, they can vote for their favorite. Attached to the ballot is a scavenger hunt including the local shops.

"You can stop into all of our awesome retailers around here to check out what they have going on. If you go to all of them you get a stamp and you will go into a raffle for a 100-dollar gift-card from the winner of the margarita contest," said Rehoboth Ale House owner Adam Newman.

Ballots can be bought and returned to any of the participating restaurants. For the complete list of participating bars and retailers visit their website.
