Troopers Arrest Three Dover Teens for Multiple Vehicle Break-ins

DOVER, Del.- Three Dover teens have been arrested and charged in connection with a rash of vehicle break-ins.

In the beginning of October, Delaware State Police began investigating several vehicle break-ins from the Tamarac Development and surrounding areas in Dover. 

The thefts were sporadic and occurred to unsecured vehicles, according to police. 

Police said that on Oct. 21, a silver Jeep Patriot was taken from a home and later recovered at the McDonald’s on East Lebanon Road. 

Police reported there was stolen property from the Tamarac Development and Quails Landing located inside the vehicle.

During an investigation, three suspects were identified as Naikeir Ellis, 17, Felipe Goicuria, 17, and Taron Marsh, 15.

Ellis was taken into custody on Nov. 2 and Goicuria and Marsh were taken into custody on Nov. 5. 

All three suspects were charged with the following:

  • Acquire or Obtain Possession of a Controlled Substance by Theft (Felony)
  • Conspiracy Third Degree (4 counts)
  • Theft (3 counts)
  • Attempted Theft
  • Tampering With a Vehicle (4 counts)
  • Criminal Trespass (4 counts)

All three suspects were arraigned before the Kent County Family Court and committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center.
